Czesky Krumlov is a small town in the southern part of the Chech Republik. It is famous for its old buildings, some of them from the 15th. century and the back streets. Egon Schiele’s mother is from Czesky Krumlov. The artist spent there about a year. This town is a treasure for everybody who loves to paint old buildings!

It took a whole week to redesign the birdsart.de website. I switched to Wordpress – a blogging, publishing system. All sketches, paintings and photos are still there. I even added some more for the different themes. Have a look at the pages on the right navigationbar.
I will try to upload 3 to 4 paintings or drawings every week. The maximum size of these paintings will be 30×30 cm (11,8×11,8 in). This is a concept similar to the daily painters.
