Every friday evening a group of about 10 persons gather to draw and sketch a model. This time the person who wanted to model, forgot about it. So we decided that every present person should take a seat for 10 minutes. I started to draw the people in a different way as usually.

Last year we spent the christmas holidays in the Karkonsze mountain. The northern part is located in Poland, the southern in the Czech republic. Have a look at the whole gallery.

Last summer on a big exhibition in Berlin with paintings from the world-famoust impressionists, I bought in the gallery shop a starter kit box with a few linocut knifes, colors and small linoleum plates. Six months later I decided to start with a small linocut.

After Christmas I spent two days in Dresden. I thought I would give the weather a try. It was cold, windy and sunny. It was one of the shortest days in the year. During the painting process I saw the shadows moving!
