Since many years every Friday in Berlin Prenzlauer-Berg a live model drawing takes place. I went there yesterday and tried some watercolours. With three colors only: ochre, cadmium red and ultramarin.

Last week I was invited to a birthday party on the german island Usedom on the baltic coast. It’s always a pleasure to sit down on the beach and to paint the scenery.

These illustrations are part of a children’s book project I illustrated during the last three months. The idea developed Katrin Krieg – a friend of mine. The story is about a cat and its family. They are moving from a city flat to a country house, with a big wild garden.

More than two weeks ago we went to the book fair in Leipzig to present an idea for a children’s book. On a publisher exhibition stand a young women was sketching the people around. I dared to ask her if I could have a look into her sketchbook. She made a quick sketch from my profile. It turned out, that she is an illustrator from Belarus.
