More than two weeks ago we went to the book fair in Leipzig to present an idea for a children’s book. On a publisher exhibition stand a young women was sketching the people around. I dared to ask her if I could have a look into her sketchbook. She made a quick sketch from my profile. It turned out, that she is an illustrator from Belarus. It took a whole week to redesign the birdsart.de website. I switched to Wordpress – a blogging, publishing system. All sketches, paintings and photos are still there. I even added some more for the different themes. Have a look at the pages on the right navigationbar.
I will try to upload 3 to 4 paintings or drawings every week. The maximum size of these paintings will be 30×30 cm (11,8×11,8 in). This is a concept similar to the daily painters.
