At the end of June I spent 3 days in Thiessow. It’s a small village in the soutch-east part of Rügen – the biggest german island in the baltic sea. After finishing the painting, I realized that the right lower part in the painting is somehow empty. Back in Berlin, I added the heron.

More then 6 weeks ago I was in Dresden again. The old city is stuffed with old churches, cathedrals and tourists. During the paint process the steam ship disappeared for twice, so I had to paint it from memory and simplified it. I think the name of the church is Kreuzkirche.
oil | öl; 30×30 cm | 11,8×11,8 in; € 330,–
