Finally I found time to update this blog. I prepared some paintings, sketches and photos from the last 3 months. I start with two watercolors and some photos from the Havel river, about 70km west from Berlin. There, in a very small village – Bahnitz – I had a two days exhibition.
I’m illustrating for a german bird magazin little stories about birdwatchers. Sometimes the editorial team mails me only a few sentences with the order to create an illustration. This time he story is about a hide somewhere in Sweden, stuffed with photographers. They are surrounded by hundreds of cranes, and lot of them are mating. And there was a guy, who shouted »Copuuula«, every time he saw a mating crane pair.
Last week I was invited to a birthday party on the german island Usedom on the baltic coast. It’s always a pleasure to sit down on the beach and to paint the scenery.
